Donate to Our Foundation

At River Region Hospice, care is delivered in the least restrictive manner possible servicing either in the home, in the hospice house, or at an extended care facility. Care, as it should be, is provided in the most appropriate setting and with a consistent staff that follows the patient wherever the optimal treatment is available. This allows families to enjoy quality time together, rather than having to waste valuable time coordinating different facilities, each with new faces to learn and trust. Quality time, coupled with the compassionate and skillful River Region Hospice staff, create a peaceful and rewarding hospice journey.

Many have been moved to give back, to donate, either time or money so families like theirs are afforded the same experience regardless of the ability to pay. Oftentimes, monetary donations are made to our non-profit foundation, The River Region Hospice Foundation, Inc., formed to receive and disburse such donations:

Donations are greatly appreciated as well as judiciously applied to meet the needs of those we serve. By virtue of monetary gifts, River Region Hospice can assist pay for funeral or burial services for low-income families. The proceeds also allow us to meet the minimum expenses for end-of-life treatment of the uninsured or under-insured. Donations also purchase medical equipment needed, but not covered by insurance.

All donors receive a mailed response and thank you from the hospice administrator. Upon request, a patient’s family can be notified of the donation made in their loved one’s name, and by whom the donation was made.
