River Region Hospice House is near the corner of Upstream Street and Jefferson Highway in River Ridge.  Listed below are directions coming from Interstate 3-10, West Bank or Downtown, and Metairie or Kenner.

Coming from Interstate 3-10

  1. Merge onto I-10 E via EXIT 1A toward NEW ORLEANS. (go 3.06 miles)
  2. Take the LA-49/WILLIAMS BLVD exit, EXIT 223A-B, toward N. O. INTL AIRPORT.  (go 0.21 miles)
  3. Keep RIGHT at the fork to go on WILLIAMS BLVD/LA-49 S.  If you are on WILLIAMS BLVD and reach BRUIN DR, you have gone about 0.2 miles too far. (go 2.53 miles)
  4. Turn LEFT onto REVEREND RICHARD WILSON DR/3RD ST/LA-48 E. REVEREND RICHARD WILSON DR becomes JEFFERSON HIGHWAY/LA-48 E.
  5. Continue to follow JEFFERSON HIGHWAY/LA-48 E.  JEFFERSON HIGHWAY/LA-48 E is just past 4TH ST. (go 2.59 miles)
  6. Turn LEFT onto UPSTREAM ST.  UPSTREAM ST is just past ORCHARD RD. (go 0.05 miles)
  7. River Region Hospice House, 507 UPSTREAM ST is on the RIGHT.  If you reach 5TH ST, you have gone a little too far. (go 0 miles)

Coming from the West Bank

  1. US-90-BR E becomes I-10 W.  (go 0.3 miles)
  2. Take the CARROLLTON AVE exit, EXIT 232, toward TULANE AVE. (go 0.35 miles)
  3. Take the ramp toward CARROLLTON AVE SOUTH.  (go 0.32 miles)
  4. Merge onto DUBLIN ST.  (go 0.15 miles)
  5. Turn LEFT onto PALMETTO ST.  PALMETTO ST is just past DIXON ST. (go 0.08 miles)
  6. Take the 1st RIGHT onto S CARROLLTON AVE.  If you are on WASHINGTON AVE and reach SHORT ST you have gone a little too far.  (go 0.43 miles)
  7. Turn RIGHT onto EARHART BLVD/LA-3139 N.
  8. Continue to follow EARHART BLVD/LA-3139 N.  EARHART BLVD/LA-3139 N is just past OLEANDER ST.  (go 5.64 miles)
  9. Turn SLIGHT LEFT onto DICKORY AVE/LA-3154 S.  Continue to follow DICKORY AVE.  (go 0.44 miles)
  10. Turn RIGHT onto DUFRENE ST.  DUFRENE ST is 0.1 miles past DOCK ST. (go 0.04 miles)
  11. Turn LEFT onto HICKORY AVE/LA-3154.  (go 0.09 miles)
  12. Take the 1st RIGHT onto CITRUS RD.  If you reach VICKNAIR ST you have gone a little too far.  (go 0.91 miles)
  13. Turn LEFT onto JEFFERSON HWY/LA-48 E.   JEFFERSON HWY is just past AZEETA DR.  (go 0.22 miles)
  14. Turn LEFT onto UPSTREAM ST.  UPSTREAM ST is just past ORCHARD RD.  (go 0.05 miles)
  15. River Region Hospice House, 507 UPSTREAM ST is on the RIGHT.  If you reach 5TH ST you have gone a little too far.  (go 0 miles)


Coming from Metairie or Kenner

  1. Take I-10 to the CLEARVIEW PKWY exit, EXIT 226, toward HUEY LONG BR.  (go 0.36 miles)
  2. Take the CLEARVIEW PKWAY SOUTH ramp toward HUEY LONG BR.  (go 0.28 miles)
  3. Merge onto CLEARVIEW PKWY/LA-3152 S.  (go 1.77 miles)
  4. Turn RIGHT onto AIRLINE DR/US-61.  AIRLINE HWY is just past TEMPLE ST.  (go 2.1 miles)
  5. Turn LEFT onto N LITTLE FARMS AVE/LA-3155.
  6. Continue to follow N LITTLE FARMS AVE.  N LITTLE FARMS AVE is 0.1 miles past HICKORY AVE.  (go 1.16 miles)
  7. Turn RIGHT onto LITTLE FARMS AVE.  LITTLE FARMS AVE is 0.1 miles past PEAR ST.  (go 0.06 miles)
  8. Turn LEFT onto JEFFERSON HWY/LA-48 E.  (go 1.06 miles)
  9. Turn LEFT onto UPSTREAM ST.  UPSTREAM ST is just past ORCHARD RD.  (go 0.05 miles)
  10. River Region Hospice House, 507 UPSTREAM ST is on the RIGHT.  If you reach 5TH ST you have gone a little too far.  (go 0 miles)
